I am a big fan of hunting animals endemic or originally native to the area. So hunting nyala in the Cape or gemsbok in the lowveld or Natal doesn't really appeal. But that may just be my issue
If you look at the indigenous animal distribution maps, you'll see that Nyala was already present in the top edge of the Eastern Cape province where it borders Natal. I guess the spread of the species across the entire province was aided by man, but who know how far South they would have moved by now.
I do understand the point that you are trying to make though.
