Hopefully, the rifle is already built some two years later...in .375 H&H! If I had it to do over again, I would have skipped the .300 WM as it makes no sense for me with a .30-06 around and gone right for the .375 H&H. I'm certain that whatever projectile you'd decide on in the chambering would certainly be sufficient for all of North Carolina and maybe the world. The .338's and .35's seemed like such a big step until I got my .375. Now they are the limited children. I could really just do it all with a .22 WMR, .375 H&H and a 12 gauge, but where would lie the fun in such endeavors.
