Hello from Kentucky need advice !!

Welcome to AH, Jim !

Welcome to AH! One suggestion for afirst timer to Africa, just be aware that most ranches in South Africa & namibia are completly high fenced. May be a good idea to know how many acres you'll be hunting on, some are big, some...not so much.

Despite my limited experience, I will offer one bit of advice - Read! Read as much as you can about hunting in Africa. I highly recommend Craig Boddington's "The African Experience". That is a good starting point. He has a much more comprehensive (and more expensive) book "African Hunter II". I can't really comment on the latter. I just bought my copy a couple of days ago at SCI.

Hi and first of all welcome to AH. I am not experienced at all in Africa, I am currently planning my first trip also to Namibia for bow hunting. This is definitely the place to get info and everyone is very helpful. I will be travelling to Ozondjahe Hunting Safaris, you should check them out. I have personally met Jerome and he is a very likeable person and is easy to work with. I would also recommend that you research all you can about hunting in Africa.
Hello just became a new member and looking for advice. I want to plan my first trip for my wife and I to bow hunt Africa. We really need to keep our cost down and I'm leaning toward a cull hunt for our first trip any advice on outfitters, best deals on flights etc...

Thanks
Jim

Welcome to AH, some good advise has already been given.

Ed with EAI outdoors has really good prices for East Cape South Africa hunting with Kubusi Safaris.

I booked with Ed and am off in 3 weeks. I'll let you know when I get back.

Thanks I have talked to Ed about hunting.

Ed, from EAI Outdoors is a good guy . Had a client of his bring over his trophies from South Africa and they were very professionally dipped and packed. Skinners did an excellent job as well.

Also, if you guys are able to get flights out from Atlanta to Johannesburg that's the way to go, IMO
