Welcome aboard Martin. I've been hunting with my sons now for over 45 years. We hunt white tailed deer with cross bows and rifles, occasionally with a pistol. Keep your son interested in the outdoors and shooting sports and you will have a hunting buddy for a lifetime. My youngest grandson took a nice doe just a few days after his 9th birthday using a 6.5 X 55 Swedish Mauser that I had cut down to fit "grandkids." Use the AH Search function to find the answers to most of your questions. That being said feel free to ask any questions you may have. Rest assured, you will get answers from folks " have been there and done that."

Welcome Martin
I am also an avid Mauser fan (but of the older rifles and actions).
The new Mausers does not interest me at all.

If we can be of any assistance with your search for a safari destination feel free to ask.

Sincerely
Hans de Klerk

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
