Hello all! and hunting in Kenya..

MOV, welcome. Viz a viz absolutely nothing to do with hunting, I am reading "Across the wide Zambezi - a Doctor's life in Africa" written by Warren Durant. If you are a medic - Doctors without frontiers - you may find it interesting. You can get it on kindle. It's not particularly well written but a medical mam might be amused by what he was left to get on with.
Have fun.

Welcome to AH, MOV !

Welcome to AH MOV! Enjoy the site.

Welcome to the site MOV. I was in Kenya two years ago and squeezed in a couple of days bird shooting. Sandgrouse, guineafowl and francolin.
Ok,it's not cheap. The logistics of how much ammo you can hold, where you can buy it ,import duty and taxes made each cartridge an eye watering $1.50 a piece .
There are daily bag limits. IIRC 20 sandgrouse in a day.
A friend of mine,Andrew Corbett,is working as a safari guide out of Nairobi in the Masai Mara. He is on Facebook. He may be able to help.
I shot with David Davenport on the Galana river just east of Tsavo. A little late in the season.the monsoon rains had meant a lit of water around. Nonetheless it was enjoyable.
