Heads up on your form 4457

The dating/signing 6 months prior the safari is correct. And as mentioned, just cut off the part of the form with the expiration date. Out of sight, out of mind.

The dating requirement is just an Internet rumor as far as I know. If I'm wrong and SAPS has an official policy to this effect can you please post a link to the SAPS website page stating this, or a picture of the official SAPS documentation please?

Also, although you can cut off the date at the top rather easily to do so is altering a federal document. Do so at.you own risk.

The sole purpose of the CBP Form 4457 is to prove the listed items were in the US prior to your travels.

"The form remains valid for re-importation of the registered articles for as long as the document is legible. The certificate is non- transferable."

If the border control agency of another country wants something different, that is on the other country.

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
