Shooting trap under lights is definitely different. I shot a lot of trap in my 20's and l still remember the first time under lights.
Didn't win any money that night

Absolutely. He's tough so suckin it up is something hes good at.Eric, the fact that he "sucked it up" when he had to will prove to be the most valuable aspect of this shoot. That is a lesson learned for life. The 17 HMR is an absolute hoot. Seth is going to love it. You may have to mount a jackalope or two for him.
Lol right, wellll....... if he'd has hit two more birds during the open finals he'd at worst case gotten a brand new straight pull Blaser rifle so he was pretty motivated.Congrats Seth!
But gotta ask, before someone else does, where you in it for the college fund or did you slack off knowing that you had a lock on that 17 HMR?
WELL DONE!!
Thank you and good luck to the young man. I hope he sticks with it. The shotgun disciplines are a fantastic sport. My son loves trap at night. He's just taken up the shotgun and loves trap. Good for teaching how to lead running game as well. Fun all round. He's not in Seth's class yet well done mate.
