Has anyone sucessfully mounted a wall shoulder mount to a pedestal base?

Apparently OP has found a solution. I was going to suggest mounting the kudu in a corner. Studs are always available there and corners typically are space not being used.

It is highly recommended to advise PH to skin for pedestal mount. That way the taxidermist can show a lot more options. My preference is for wall mounted pedestal.
Great suggestion, the full range hanging system that I and another poster have recommended has a corner bracket that should work well.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
