Guidance on hunting Europe

Who are the standouts for the second two?
Best highlights in my region:

Serbian (Vojvodina) roe buck.
Croatian Brown Bear.
Slovenian Alpine Chamois.

Red deer - north eastern Croatia, Bordering with Serbia (Baranja region), is the highest quality
Mouflon, and if you are after ovis slam, Dalmatian wild sheep and kri kri ibex, Croatia, coastal parts.

High volume driven boar shoot: it will be hard to get as a single hunter, because this is mainly organized for the groups of adequate size. But it is worth looking into.
Smaller volume boar driven hunt is easier to get into, but it lowers a chance to have a shot.

I've had two incredible Euro hunts this year (2024). Croatia (goat/sheep/kri kri) and Spain (ibex grand slam). Both with awesome outfitters. Croatia booked through WTA, and my guys there have taken great care of me, and in Spain with IberHunting (Antonio and Sergio are the best). Happy to give you more detail or chat about it if you want.

My recent hunt was also with IberHunting. We really enjoyed it. I took the Ronda and Southeastern ibex.

My initial game plan is to do the following:

Spain
Ibex x 4
Mouflon

Central - Austria/Poland/Hungary
Red Deer
Fallow Deer
Wild Boar
Mouflon

Eastern - Romania/Serbia
Chamois
Red Deer
Wild Boar
Brown Bear

Alpine Ibex is also an option in Austria and again in Switzerland.

Fallow deer and roebuck are also native to Romania.

I believe you will consider swapping the sequence of your hunts once you start comparing the costs for the same trophy/hunts between Central Europe and Eastern Europe.

For the Eastern Europe hunts choose the Outfitters very carefully. A friend of mine got skunked on a hunt in BC, Canada, but I think these situations are more prevalent in Eastern Europe.

Check recommandations from AH members and enjoy your hunts.

What would you recommend that is unique to central Europe then?

I'm guessing Red deer is cheaper in Eastern Europe.

No experience personally but it’s definitely on the list, especially the ibex species, and a red deer in Eastern Europe and Scotland.

Both an option. Expect to pay real money ($10k+) for a representative animal in either country.

$10k would be an absolute bargain. It’s considerably higher.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?

Do you have any cull hunts available? 7 days, daily rate plus per animal price?
