Greetings from Texas

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. This looks like a good place to sit by the fire.

Welcome to AH, Ruark!

Welcome to the site that can help make dreams come true Ruark!!

welcome to AH , you are not to old to make an African trip and your USD currency makes it very affordable.

see you in Africa soon .

Welcome, I hope you are able to have a safari work out for you. I didn't think I would ever be able to do it either until I really started looking. Wouldn't ya know it, I'm taking my wife and kids this June! It's not nearly as expensive as one might think and the great folks here would definitly be a good resourse to start looking. (y)

Welcome to the best Hunting Forum on the web @Ruark

Your introduction gave me goosebumps especially about the flashlight and blanket story - reading about hunting in Africa.

I want to get you over here, and invite you to make contact should you be interested.

All the best and hope I can make a difference.

Come on up to Dallas and have dinner with us Ruark!

If we are worth our salt, we'll have you getting quotes from Outfitters in no time!

I am making my inaugural hunting trip to the Dark Continent next May (with my wife) at 57. Two years ago I was saying the same thing as you..."I will never get to hunt Africa".

You've dreamed of this so long...time to make it happen!

See you in January??

Tim

Welcome to AH. You have definitely found the best hunting site on the web, hands down. Everybody I have talked to on here are very friendly and always more than happy to help with any questions you may have. I am 55 and I do not have a great income but like you I have always dreamed of an Africa hunt and come June 13 I leave for that trip. 10 days of hunting. As Rickp said do some research and you will find it is doable. I have been planning and saving for this since Jan 2013. I've always believed that you can do anything you want if you set your mind to it. Good luck with all and do hang around, a lot of great people here

Welcome Raurk, hope you do make it to Africa one day, it will change your life. In case you dont, just like as a when you were a kid you can live out your dreams reading about hunting and guns here, some fellows here have a way with words that will make you want to rub the dust and sweat from your eyes just like you were right there next to them.

Welcome!

And Tarbe is right. Come see us at DSC!

Welcome to AH. Glad to have you.

Rather late than never

Welcom to AH.jpg

This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.
