Welcome! I actually grew up on a farm in SW Ontario (Oldcastle). Retired in Bama now.

Our lives have many parallels, I grew up in Southern Ontario, (Brighton), joined the CAF but the Snr service Navy, posted to BC, never left and retired 34 years later.
