Hello all.
Recently retired, northwest American deer and elk hunter, also an avid northern California spear fisherman. Looking forward to my first African safari hunt in South Africa's Limpopo region In June.
I would also like to check out the east cape and the area around Durban to do some diving and fishing.
The Limpopo hunt has already been set up, but looking for recommendations for the East Coast hunting and diving.
I do appreciate the information from members of Africa hunting.com and looking forward to sharing experiences of my upcoming trip.

Khomas Highland Hunting and Fishing Safaris of Namibia, welcomes you to the greatest forum on earth.

I too enjoy spear fishing, as well as hook and line angling.
Born and raised in Los Angeles.
Began spear fishing in salt water at age 12 or 13.
My family moved to Sacramento in 1967.
There I spear fished for carp and eels, in lakes and rivers.

After high school, I began moving north.
Lived in Chico, Live Oak, Gridley and finally Colusa for a few years.
In my late 20’s, I migrated to Alaska.
Here I only fish with hook and line.
But I continue to spear fish almost every year at Hawaii.

Anyway, when you get around to it, have a look into the Khomas Safaris web site.

Andrew Pringle of Crusader Safaris may be able to direct you to a fishing or dive boat out of Durban. I’ve hunted with him out of Durban in the Umkomass River camp and am returning in August. I’ve stayed at a B&B along the ocean that they use that is awesome twice. That owner would for sure have connections to what you’re looking for. Ask Andrew for its name as I can’t think of it right now.

Here’s the guest house I’ve used twice. And Endless Summer Tours I’ve used twice, Mike Ross - he for sure will know boats. I met him when he transported hunters to Crusaders camp in 2013. Top notch person like Andrew.Have to book early at Cowrie Cove as they book out - missed a stay once because they were full.
