Hunting reports

Having been to South Africa on a plains game safari, I am interested in taking my spouse. Any recommendations on an upscale lodge, preferably remote, where I could hunt warthog, zebra, eland...maybe buffalo and the spouse could be somewhat pampered?? Anything in Namibia, SA...don't know if Mozambique is tame enough. Any help is appreciated.

What does "she" consider pampered? :-) Excellent food? 4 star linens and a full tiled en suite? Fine wines?

With all due respect, this request has disaster written all over it.

It's probably me. When I go on a hunt, I am going to hunt, not worry about a non hunter being occupied, satisfied, dissatisfied or happy for one reason or another. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Hi Dreaming, i have a couple of very upscale lodges in both RSA and Namibia if you are interested. Another thing to think about would be to do a nice lodge and some hunting then take a short tour and take care of the papering then, just a thought. Drop me a pm with your email and I'll get you some information.

Just more than an hour from airport, spas available, excellent accomodation and Sun City and Pilansberg national park in close viscinity, give me a PM if this interests you.
Enjoy the search.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
