Hi all

I have a great opportunity for someone looking for an trophy elephant (exportable) for this year.

I just had a postponement of a hunt of 2 friends that booked a trophy bull each and a non export elephant each. Due to an operation on one's Achilles heel, they want to postpone the hunt.

This leaves me with 2 trophy bulls to sell. (The 2 own use elephant/ non exports has already been sold.)

My normal price for a 14 day elephant hunt, with 2 travel days (so 16 days total), is US$ 43 900. This includes any trophy elephant bull shot, with no sliding scale on weight. (Expect a bull between 40 and 60 pounds).

I will sell any or both these hunts for US$ 36 000 all inclusive per elephant.

Drop off and pick up point is Katima Mulilo airport (Kasane can also be done, in fact I prefer it, but will need a Botswana temp fire arm import, which will cost a bit more, between US$ 50 and 100 per rifle, depending on if yours are the only permit that I need to send my driver for or not.)

Area to be hunted can be any of the following :
Sobbe, Sikunga or Salambala (all 3 in Eastern Caprivi, dependent of where we hunt other elephants during the year, and on when a client wants to come and hunt.)

Available times and in brackets which area(s) will work best for that, as follows:
Now till 1 June (Sobbe)
21 June to 31 July (any)
1 August & 30 September (Sikunga and Salambala)
16 Oct to 12 Nov (Sikunga or Salambala)
14 Nov to 30 Nov (Sobbe, Salambala)

Myself or Fred Bezuidenhout will in all likelihood be the PH's. In case both of us are busy, Malan Lamprecht will do the hunt.

If hunting in Sobbe, the accommodation will be in a thatched camp. If hunting Sikunga or Salambala, the accommodation will be in a permanent camp on the banks of the Zambezi.

Game that are available at an extra trophy fee (quota dependent), are:
buffalo (8500)
kudu (1500)
zebra (1500)
warthog (400)
duiker (400)
impala (600)
wildebeest (1000)
hippo (4000)
very small chance that I have a sable left (8500)

I can be contacted on my normal email address for the next 7 or 8 days after which I will be back in the bush.

Some other details that some guys has been asking for:
Deposit required to secure a date: US$ 12 000. Rest (24 000) no later than 60 days prior to hunt.
First observer will be free of charge, more observers at US$ 250/ day.
Very high success rate

This really is a great offer. If I wasn't already committed for another elephant hunt, my son and I would have jumped all over this! I can't imagine you'll have much trouble filling this gap.

This is a great offer wish I could figure a way to do this before the US figure a way to stop import on them as well.

Gentleman,
If you have been around long enough, you will know that Karl is synonymous with some of the best elephant hunting there is.
A chance to hunt with one of the best in the business. Get in there!

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.
