I believe it was in the $5K rangeShows it sold. How much was it?
I didn’t really pay much attention to the price - sorry guys !$6500.99, plus tax and Ship I assume.
I remembered it because of the 0.99. Thinking that was interesting that they want 6500, plus ninety-nine extra cents. I mean, why tack on the .99…why not go for even more?I didn’t really pay much attention to the price - sorry guys !
If genuine, even with modifications, that is a solid deal. Introduced the year prior than stated and I recall they initially had one cross-bolt instead of two here. I don't know if they switched to two as quickly as the second year on manufacture. Hmmmm.is this looking cheap - pre 64 Winchester mean little in Europe - as we use CZ 602 etc CZ550

I think it's earlier than 80's, just based on the styling, but who knows. Yeah, I'm kinda curious to get it in hand as well and see.If they knew the actual caliber I might be inclined to buy it just to play with it..
I’m having a hard time believing Winchester let a rifle escape their factory during the time frame they think it was manufactured without the caliber marked on the barrel… makes me wonder if this wasn’t a project gun of some sort that an individual built rather then Winchester…

Cabela’s has adopted a policy of listing the rifle using the name on the receiver regardless even if there are the custom maker’s marks on the rifle.I don't know that this is necessarily a good deal or not, but is a very curious rifle to me. I've never seen one of these before; does anyone recognize this model of Winchester?
