One reason, beautiful customs in .30-06 show up on gunsinternational more than perhaps any other chambering. Most are asking prices between $3,000 - $7,500, which will buy a beautiful rifle from American Custom Gunmakers Guild members.Someone needs to tell me why this isn’t a good deal.

Is it me or is there a name engraved into the wood near the wrist? That's a bit of a turn off, if so, but at that price point....
Tried to buy it earlier. Sold before my call got through. Had the credit card out.Rigby 9.3 - nice price with that scope. https://www.gunsinternational.com/g...ighland-stalker-9-3x62mm.cfm?gun_id=102964511
I bet you a dime something nefarious went on with that deal. Cabela’s/ Bass Pro seem to have “deals” listed from time to time that are “sold” immediately upon listing. Then again, I can stand to lose a dime.I’m not in the market for a Rigby.. but at that price, with that optic, I would have been all over that one..
I’m surprised a Cabelas had it listed at that price. They must have stolen it from the prior owner.
I called for an hour... finally called customer service and had them walk my info back to the gun room. Right when I got through to the gun room it "just sold"I bet you a dime something nefarious went on with that deal. I called again this morning to "double check". Still sold.Yea that was a crazy good deal. Sorry you didn't get it. Apparently not for lack of trying!
That’s what I tell the Mrs. when she asks….”I have it out to use. That’s why they gave it to me.”Tried to buy it earlier. Sold before my call got through. Had the credit card out.
I dont know how much trouble there is with an import from Spain to the US but this seems like a very nice price for a Heym 88B in .470 Nitro Express. 3900 euros seems like a bargain.

Since it is the PH-model it is completly devoid of engraving, but still a quality rifle from a good maker.
If I had not allready made up my mind about not owning a double rifle again I would probably bought it myself.
Sorry to hear thatThe gun dealer told me they will not export.
But would they ship to someone who does? I’d say most dealers hand off the exporting to a third partyThe gun dealer told me they will not export.
If they were really interested in doing it, they would have helped with a solution. That’s as far as I am going. But would they ship to someone who does? I’d say most dealers hand off the exporting to a third party
