Welllllllll….what do you think the regulating wedge is doing? Bending the barrels to adjust point of impact. Meticulous work that costs $1500 to have redone and can be completed by about 5 elderly gunsmiths in North America. It’s a pity to shoot a mono through a gun, or even a hotter load, if the consequences could be re-laying ribs and resetting the wedge.
I suppose I assumed the barrels were regulated as straight pipes, then soldered in place. But I also can’t distinguish between a side lock and a box lock, so there’s that…..
