Good Gun Deals This Week

577NE, Searcy, engraved, excellent condition, case, no ammo, etc. $20k.
Cabela's Allen, TX
It’s been there for a minute. Several AH members in the DFW Area have looked/held this gun in person

A CZ 550 in 9.3x62 for $1,445. I don't see too many of these appearing.

...and a Sako 85 Classic in 308 Win for $1,199.

That’s not a 85 Classic stock.

True! That's the checkering I normally see on the 85 Varmint which did come in 308. Since I'm left-handed & wasn't going to buy it, I just copied what the listing said without examining it closely. Either way, at that price it disappeared fast. (y)

For someone looking for a very good price on a 450 Rigby, at $2499 this RSM looks to be a very good deal. Not a factory chambering, looks to have some custom metal work. I would consider if I was searching for a reasonably priced 450 Rigby in an excellent rifle platform plus free shipping to any Cabelas or Bass Pro in your area.

I forgot, Colorado now has a 6.5% percent excise tax on all firearms sales so there’s that. Still a good deal.

Which one did you buy? The Sporter?
Is there really any other option? I’ve been looking for a sporter stock for a couple years now. Might as well get a whole rifle for not much more.

Congrats. I hoped someone would snag that great deal. It’s like new condition with very nice wood.

The skeptic in me says there’s a catch here, so I’d recommend any interested party asks plenty of questions.

Caught and released - whoever owned this before had done a piss-poor work over on the feed ramp, gouged the hell out of it. Buyer beware if it pops up again.

I know of one here in Belgium for 700€ or about 830$

While Ruger did make the RSI series of 77 & No. 1 rifles with a full-length Mannlicher / Stutzen stock, rifles of that style aren't that common where I hunt. I rarely see a modern one for a bargain price (right now there's another one on GunBroker that someone wants a ridiculous $3,800 for ). I mentioned that particular CZ mainly because they don't pop up very often and the 9.3x62 chambering was a bit unusual too. Every few years, an older left-handed Sako in this style will appear but then the price always climbs way outside my budget. :D
