Well, I made it home last night. This is my second go around in 14 years with this type of surgery. Not sure if it's the extra 14 years of age or what. But this time seems way harder than last. Or maybe my memory is just getting bad.
I am able to get outside and walk around a little bit, but it's cold here, so that makes it little harder than usual. I'm hoping for some spring type weather soon.
Another thing is, I've had two different buddies send hog pictures today. Man I wish I could hunt with them!
Anyway, thanks again for all the prayers and kind words!

Those folks knew that you had to get the gun store opened back up!

Feeling better. But I have to go in today to have my incision drained. It's still infected and doesn't appear to be healing correctly. Fun times! Thanks for checking on me!

Had to go into the office today and have a couple of abscess' in my incision drained. Let me tell ya...I could go the rest of my life without doing that again. Now I have to change the gauze and dressing twice a day until it all heals up. Oh well... they say getting old isn't for pussies. Well I'm not all that old yet, but this'll make ya feel that way!
