Going Back To Zimbabwe In 2023!

I am super excited about the hunt and hunting with @TOBY458 and @Philip Glass!!! Philip and I met today at DSC with both Dalton & York to discuss the upcoming hunt! I am hunting both Buff and elephant just like Toby while Philip is hunting leopard.
If we kill a Buffalo or Elephant early in the hunt, maybe we can make Philip a good deal on some Leopard bait. I figure 50% of our trophy fees should be fair. Lol!

@TOBY458 congrats. I too love Zimbabwe. We are going back in 2024 and 2025. Looking forward to hearing stories.

I'll probably end up taking a 375 barrel too. Just like the idea of traveling light. But what's another 3lbs and a couple boxes of ammo? Right?
Agreed, light, uncluttered and focured. The two do the same job anyway.

Congrats guys! Super exciting! Should be a blast.

BTW, I'll be hunting with @Philip Glass and @Rare Breed . So maybe they will chime in.
With three prolific writers going, I am looking forward to not one, but three detailed and entertaining hunt reports. One from each hunter's perspective! That should be interesting.

You will need a bigger office/trophy room. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

@TOBY458
Great news! Looking fwd to your hunting report on the forum.

it would be interesting to get your impressions about eventual difference in performance between 458 and 375 on DG.
Good luck!

@phillip Glass
I will watch your adventures with great interest!
Thanks!

It will be epic! So good to visit with you at DSC! I am hoping we will get @TOBY458 to Nashville. I will be counting the days until I am back in the Omay.

Congratz Toby, you were missed at DSC. But do understand saving $$$ for the hunt.

Have fun and I am already looking forward to the hunt report.

Excellent news, gents. Should be a few great hunting reports to read later this year. I'll be particularly interested in the leopard hunting. Looking to book in a leopard hunt for 2025.

Congrats, it sounds like an excellent adventure!

Sounds like yet another great adventure.

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.

Do you have any more copies of African Dangerous Game Cartridges, Author: Pierre van der Walt ? I'm looking for one. Thanks for any information, John [redacted]

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
