Giraffe Cull Hunt 2025

Good day Africa Hunting community,

This coming 2024 season - as with every other one - we will have to do a bit of management on our Madikwe East home base as we continue to have an unprecedented number of Giraffe on the reserve. Thus we are once again offering a cull hunt option for 2025 in the hope of some extra numbers being hunted this year! We hunt large self sustaining herds on our home base. Some of which are over 25 animals strong! It is truly fantastic to drive along and see breeding herds of Giraffe as far as the eye can see. Our Madikwe area is a painless 3 and a quarter hour drive from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg where we will collect you personally before heading off to the hunting area. Our camp is a beautiful tented camp in the classic old school "Hemingway style" with some new modern trimmings. We have recently added a honeymoon suite for those wishing to stay in more modern room! The hunting for other species is truly something special and we strongly urge clients to consider some extra's whilst there - you will be in a world class spot!

The pricing is as follows:

If 1 hunter:
1x hunter for 6 days/6 nights @ $2400 total day fee's

If two hunters:
2x Hunters for 6 days/6 nights @ $2010 total day fee's (per hunter)

6 old/fully mature Giraffe cows $7200 ($1200 per giraffe)

*Other animals can be added at additional cost.
*Other hunters/observers welcome at additional cost.

Package includes:
• Licensed Professional Hunter, a Tracker, Skinner and hunting vehicle.
• Accommodation on a full board basis, incl. non-alcoholic drinks and table beer/wine
• Transfer from and to Johannesburg international Airport.
• Transport between and on hunting Area A and Area B
• Laundry service (Except on Sundays).
• Field preparation of Trophies.

Package excludes:
• Flight from and to Johannesburg International Airport, and any national flights from one concession to the next.
• Hard tack (whiskey, brandy etc)
• Firearms and ammunition. (Rifle Hire available at request)
• Hotel accommodation before and after the hunt – if required.
• Taxidermy, packing, insurance, transport.
• Dipping and shipping of trophies.
• Personal expenses ex. Tips, Telephone, Souvenirs etc.
• Tourist Programmes
