Alot of the ranches in Texas have the feeders up for the whitetail deer. The ranch I was on had a ton of deer I seen more bucks than I care to count and alot had already shed thier antlers. The rancher there hated the ferel hogs as they ate all the corn at his feeders. I am sure the sheep hit them also but they holed up in the high cliffs. So you can hunt them anyway you want. Those red rams are hard to see against the red dirt of Texas. I watch a heard of 20 disappear like they vanished when they ran up into the red cliffs. I did shoot my ram when he and two others came out onto a wheat field in the evening. There was no feeder there but the wheat. If I had wounded him he would have been in those steep cliffs and most likely we would have not found him. It is a good sheep hunt in west Texas and you can make it as easy or as hard as you want. Also those hogs are very good eating. I feel it is better than store bought pork and alot of times they are free.
Beautiful ram andriesdeklerk. Length and mass. Great genetics. The country looks like far west Texas in the background. Marfa, Alpine, Fort Davis area?
