German Claw Mounts for Scopes

In Germany Frankonia would not be my choice for saving money.

I knew a guy near Plochingen, he did great work on my Mannlicher. Also knew a guy in Suhl. I bet there are a lot of guys in Suhl, but that's not the issue here.

New England Custom Gun may have a solution. Another guy who did great work on a Mannlicher scope for me was Lee LeBas.

I know you're not asking about Mannlichers, but that's where I've needed help with custom scopes. Your milage may vary.

Yes Frankonia, would be bloody expensive. They charge about $500 to thread and proof a barrel for a silencer.

Why not just have a 1-6 scope with illuminated reticle fit so you have some flexibility on what you use it for?

I’ve never understood this red dot revolution on safari rifles, but to each his own

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
