Driven hunt for brown bears and wild boars in the heart of Transylvania, Covasna
county, one of the areas with the highest density of brown bears in Europe.
Every year we organize here only one hunt for bears and boars.
Hunting area belongs to a private owner and consists of 15,000 hectars of forest and hills.
Accommodation is in a castle dating from the 16th century. Castle has Castelul has 34

URGENT!!! DO NOT TRUST BEST EUROPEAN HUNTS, now named BEST ROMANIAN HUNTS!!!!

I was offered this hunt, by Mircea and George. I sent the deposit of 2,250 Euros and they agreed to return my deposit in the case I could not do the hunt. They gave the excuse that Mircea was dying from a car accident and that his word was not valid anymore and George told me he was only his parter and could not return my deposit back.

I have learned that what the told me about their company and their hunts DO NOT EXIST, they have many complaints in many forums around the world by not sending the trophies to their clients and steeling deposits.

Beware and DO NOT TRUST THIS PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I trusted them and they robbed me. The hunting community should know this in order to spread the word about this people that are giving a bad name to the hunting industry.

I am glad that I am not going with this people to Romania, if the robbed me by internet, they would have kill me once there!!!!!!!! Sucking blood like count Dracula may be their business.

I got his name off of your website. You may want to warn your clients to beware of him? He has taken a number of people on this scam.

I can inform you the he has a lot of legal problems… and the divorce is a lie...!!! He was married few years before just for few month.

I understood that you paid for the hunt that never took place and you want your money back you should make a complain to the police especially if you have a signed contract.

You are not the first that was cheated in this way . He has also drinking problem.

Also myself I made 2 years ago a complain on Dina because he stole the company money of a hunt few years ago.

Thank you Jerome for posting this scam! Everyone should always check several references with hunters in your country (on the phone) before you send any money. I would also question why the full amount of the hunt needs to be paid upfront. Red flags Red flags!

UNFORTUNATELY myself and 9 others where cheated and scammed by the WORST EUROPEAN HUNTS almost 1 1/2 yrs back when we went for a driven hunt for wild boar in romania. We paid the deposit of almost 1000US pr. person, this time the hunt was cancelled because of Mircea had been in a car accident, and was in a coma on the hospital and so the story goes.

The case is reported to the police and the interpol, but unfortunately we have lost he money, just wanting to let you guys here on and out there in the world to stay alert.

And usually when a HUNTING offer sounds to good to be true, maybe it is…!!!!

and George Dina of what I have been told should have been scammed by Mircea Pauleanu and George Dina is saying that Mircea is scamming people in his name and has been doing so for yrs now, since they stopped working together as partners.

I have email documentation on the matter to back the story up.
