I wasn't a fan of gander mountain when they insisted i pay for a gun in advance before they would ship it to me then lost it for 6 weeks. Only to find out they shipped it to the wrong state.
I like your sig line, and I find it to be absolutely true for easterns, but less so for Rio Grandes. But at that, may not be a big difference in birds, but the terrain. The place where I hunt easterns is thick and very rugged (between St. Francisville, LA and Jackson, LA). As thick as it is, good, natural cover can be hard to come by.
In Texas, I've hunted them mostly in fairly open country where I could hunker down behind bushes or in tall grass, and still have extraordinarily good visibility in all directions.
