Morning everyone,
Have a second rifle for sale, too: a .458 Winchester Magnum in a Ruger M77 “Original Tang Safety Model Rifle” magnum manufactured in 1978 (serial #73-71xxx, https://www.ruger.com/service/productHistory/RI-M77.html). The rifle was imported to Germany in November of ’81 (see proof marks), and I am the third owner. First owner took the rifle on safari and I was told by the second owner she has one buffalo to her credit. Second owner told me he fired the rifle a few times and that was all, which I believe as he had many rifles in his safe. Only a couple small handling marks. I can’t find any traces of aftermarket work, and the rifle has the original ivory folding rear sights, a Sturm Ruger red recoil pad in great shape and a very clean, smooth action with the 3-part Mauser style action. Barrel/action/rifling are all immaculate. Not many rounds through this beauty… really this rifle is in pristine condition. Length of the rifle is 44.5 inches, the barrel is 31.1 inches and the LOP is 13 5/8’s.
I talked with George Caswell yesterday over the phone, and he says these rifles go for approximately $2500-$2900.
$2500 firm with shipping included to your FFL (Alaska + Hawaii at cost). Zelle, Paypal or wire transfer or if you’re in vicinity of NW Arkansas or Tulsa, we can meet in person.
More photos available on request. I will be out of town for reserve duty from Friday-Sunday, so I won’t have the rifle nearby and will generally be delayed in responding.
