Picked this up as a project rifle but just too nice to take apart and I never fired this one either. Matching numbered barrel, action, and bolt. Looked to have a receiver side mount at one time but very difficult to tell on the outside. 9.3x57 ammo is around but I do not have any. $775 shipped.

I have no connection to the seller, but Ravens Rock has brass available.

I must resist!!
Also, I must add that the BUGNRU proofs, according to Speed, mean that the rifle was returned to Mauser for major repair or alteration.
This is a TypeB (metal wise) made in 1924-25
The 9.3X57 is probably one of if not the rarest chambering in an Oberndorf Mauser and one such rifle is detailed in Speed’s ‘Original Oberndorf Sporting Rifles’ book in which it is assumed that the rifle was returned for a rebarrel to 9.3X57 which was very popular in Sweden. This could be so, I guess, but the stamps on the barrel - serial and chambering - are 100% correct on this rifle and the one in the book so I’m not sure what the major repair or alteration could be but to see two rifles of the same vintage with the same chambering and proofs - quite interesting anyway.
Super cool rifle that is worth the entry fee all day long!

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Good day, Slider.

Do you by any chance have any 500NE brass left that you are willing to part ways with?

Best regards,
Boela Bekker.
