Cleaning out the gun room and have a few items to post. I have 2 empty vintage shotgun shell boxes that someone may like to have, one is 12 gauge and the other 20 gauge. No idea if they have any value, make me an offer. Or if they are worthless just say so and I'll ship them to you if you pay the $8-10 USPS postage.

Your price is very reasonable so its a moot point, but you asked about value. The vintage boxes that hold the very high values, as in more than $100 each have art on them. The better the art, the higher the value (in addition to scarcity). For example, clays are less sought than pics of guns, guns are less desirable than birds and dogs that hold the highest collector appeal.

These are gross generalizations, but sporting art is driven by attractive game animals and hunting dogs to hit nose-bleed prices.

Thanks @rookhawk for the reply about value. I did a quick google search and saw lots on eBay at prices all over the board but that pricing was consistent with your comments about artwork on the box versus plain boxes

Boxes have been claimed by @Firebird. Thanks for looking

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
