Frugal Hunter

I thought my first safari would be my only trip. I took eleven animals and mounted all but one. I made a second trip five years later and took nine plus two cull animals. Of the nine, I mounted seven and have two euros.
My next trip, I’ll mount three or four and the rest will be euros or photographs.
Everyone has their own priorities. If I were to do it over again, mount my top three or four from each hunt and either euro or photos of the balance.

Yep… 6x hunts in Africa and a few others in a couple of other places… getting everything mounted every trip…

Now my house looks like they’re going to film the remake of the final fight scene of Roadhouse here lol…

Were we to do it all over again… it would likely be more pics and less mounts…

:)

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
