Several months ago I posted about the Mauser M98 125th Anniversary No. 6 rifle in 8x57. Below is the No. 1 rifle in 375 H&H which I picked up at the same time. My dream is to one day take both rifles to Africa for buffalo and plains game.

Beautiful and exquisite! Not sure I would take hunting though, just too nice!

I am not always a fan of case hardening. I’m a HUGE fan of that case! Beautifully done!

Very very nice! Well done !

I like the CC action, and the timber is also very nice.

That’s a real work of art! Please take it to Africa and let it fulfill its purpose in life!

WOW, I'm speechless. Congrats, and yes take her to Africa.

Beautiful gun. You can hunt a lot of buffaloes with the value of that gun ;)

Jokes aside, hope you take her on a proper journey when the time is due.

Thanks for sharing.

Holy Sh*t, that is a nice rifle. I would be afraid to take that out of the box.

Lovely! Now quit buying those things and book a hunt with a great outfitter.
