In this picture is my friend Mindy she is new to big game hunting and this of course her first trip to South Africa the outfitter is Lion-Cachet and we hunted with Jan the owner on a previous hunt I was able to harvest a nice 50" Kudu bull and Jan made it his mission to allow Mindy the opportunity at a bull bigger than mine and he did come through after some tense moments passing on several 50"+ bulls she settled on this very nice 56 1/2" bull……..The first kudu smile is always recognizable.
I was in South Africa in October 2009 as a 50 years birthday present. Here are some pictures I took. I was in Eastern Cape in the northeast region. The Ostrich was really a hunt I took 3 days to get hold on him. Finally I took him with a shoot from about 350 meters. The first shot missed without any notice and the second was a hit in right in the heart. One of the best 8 days in my life.
Best regards

This is my youngest daughter saying hi to the Gnu. Actually, it is my first attempt at a full body african mount that I took outside to get some pics. A lot of people actually think I have one for a pet.
