Luis's two ele pics are both fantastic! Luis must be a professional photographer, as the quality of those pics is well beyond that of anyone but a pro with pro equipment. Stunning photos. I am not voting for them or any others, just admiring. I dont have the patience to sit down and go thru all the pics.

Ses there are only Nine pictures among the finalists to choose between. Do make a vote. I agree Luis's Ele pictures are great.

........... The pics that reached the final are outstanding and it should not be necessary to use a lot of personal connections to "cheat"....:(

"Cheating" ? Cheating is breaking of the rules.

Introducing new people to AH is not breaking the rules, from my understanding.
I sincerely hope that the new folks get an opportunity to see what the site is about and pass it on to others.

Let Jerome know if you have evidence of the stated rules being broken.

Elephant 1 by Luis, they all are great shots thanks for having the contest good luck to all the contestants

I have seen 100 post requirements to vote on other sites in order to qualify to vote. Now i see why!!!

Yep, heck you should the fuss we have at airboat lake cleanups for a $100.00 who picked up the most trash lol, but maybe some of the new folks will pull up a chair and stay on and contrubute to AH, not the way I want to win but heck thats just me.........

At the behest of Brickburn I am voting - I vote for Elephant One by Luis. Just to be clear. He asked me to vote, not who to vote for. I choose Ele 1.

You may have noticed the word was put in "..."

I'm not saying its cheating, just a tasteless way of trying to win. Its casts shadows over a great competition. I also hope that some of this new members will stay, but I have my doubts....

I know where your coming from Trond I myself would never think about doing such a thing but when I think back how many times have we been suckered in to the same thing i.e. new members asking us to go to another website and vote for them so they will become the next huntress and be filmed on tv and we do it not even realizing that we're helping them do the same thing thats going on here right now and why? because there hunters to, they'll never get me to do it again now that my eye's are open but I can't condem those for doing what I have done "not knowing" so I can't hold it against the new guys. But I just wonder how many "if any really did network" told these other hunters about this fantastic contest before it ended and they asked for there votes so they could compete. Hmmmmm, I really do hope some of the new members are following this thread so maybe they'll stick around and share some of they're hunting adventures with us as well.

I must agree with what I hope is the majority, that this is very unsportsmanlike to say the very least, that someone would stoop so low to win a contest. I would never want to hunt with this type of person, and certainly would not want to take them out on a hunt they won. How does someone win a contest in this way, have the gall to look the PH in the face if they won??
With all the turmoil this is now causing, one can only hope that a true sportsman would ask to be removed from the contest, with a sincere apology included. this is my opinion!
MY vote is ELEPHANT # 1, by Luis

The wildebeest picture by Docman is my vote.

All of the pictures are noteworthy and I especially like the photo with the dog and pheasant.

gday bob that girl got me with the huntress aswell
ive been regretting it since im seeing whats going here
and I don't think they would of asked the favour of voting until they were in the selection so they didn't have to much competition !!!

I liked the Dog and Pheasant picture by BRICKBURN myself and would have gotten my vote, but to be honest I have to be able to lay my head down and sleep at night so I can work the next day  besides who wants to see a dogs butt in my face anyhow.

Dog and Pheasant,,,great action shot

Bob there was one post saying sorry but i have only joined just to place my vote and thats it....there is the other post criticizing a post i made saying it was a shame i didnt think it was ok for family and friends to join just to vote to give that person the greater chance to win, and as for all the people from specific countries that have popped up to join and vote for the person who lives there and logged off straight after dont even get me started.............as i stated in my earlier post the new members who have joined and voted and who will continue to be part of the site then welcome(not that many i think), as for the rest well , you can probably work out what i would say. to me a competition like this on Ah is for everyone to have a go, enjoy everyones entries/pass comments on them, have a little bit of hope you might win, take part in the voting and then be happy and join in congratulating the winner. the unfortunate manipulated route that it has gone down has left a sour taste in my mouth, and i feel sorry for jacques who has provided this fantastic opportunity ,and jerome and all the true members whether new comers, medium termers or long time members of this great site, as i feel it has cast a bit of a shadow over the proceedings..................regards mike

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
