Wow! spike has a point there sure is a lot of new members sence the voting started "FBI" Friends, Brothers and in laws. new member votes out do the old member votes if my count is right, maybe next time we have a member voting contest a rule should be put in to place that you need to have a pic in the contest or be a member of the forum before the contest started just to keep things fare. But for those that are in fact new members of AH and not the contest Welcome enjoy the site.

We should have more contest like these ..... Seem we have about 5000 new members ....

You really need to modify this competition so only people who were members before the competition can vote otherwise the whole thing can be easily rigged and probably is.

Looks to me like there is need for a check of some IP adresses.....

my 2 bits - this competition is about the best photograph - not about who can network the best and has the most friends that sign up to AH just to vote. Very disappointed in those that had their pictures chosen and then resorted to this type of cheap propaganda to try to win. This is very unfair to the other contestants. Where is the sense of fair play and proper sportsmanship!

Went thru about 20 of the new members to check on their profiles and there is no information, so sadly they joined just to vote. Agree with Bob, AH have to set some rules before the competition in order to keep things fair for all contestants in the competition. Not sure how AH should handle this situation now??

wildebeest is the one!

gpelkhunter if you look at my post(651) it contains elknuts post to which i was answering, and it would appear that this type of networking behaviour to win anything is unfortunately seen as totally acceptable in this day and age of "me! me! me!" and winning in any manner, rather than taking part in the spirit of how the competition was originally envisaged........:(

My vote is for "Elephant Two" thanks Jerome for this great opportunity!

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
