I would firstly like to congratulate all the finalists on making it this far. Secondly I would like to thank everybody that has entered the competition. You all had great pictures and I wish you could know how difficult it was to choose only a few from such great stories and pictures.
Then I would like to thank Jerome of AH.com for the opportunity to host a contest like this. Jerome you are doing a great job with AH.com and I hope that we can keep this growing and make it the biggest hunting forum on the internet. There is great outfitters and even better clients on here! If everybody in the hunting industry would be as honest and straight forward as the people on this forum it would have been a whole different industry to be in.
Thank you once again for each and everyone's support to the competition and AH.com.
Good luck finalists and looking forward on having you in camp who ever wins.... ;-)
I am sorry to see this thread come to an end. Its been fun seeing all these great photos.
The first 3 judges did a nice job narrowing it down. That must have been tough as there were so many good choices.
The caribou and the Ibex shots are were tough ones to consider as second. If I had my choice I would say there is a three way tie for first. But since I cannot and since I love to spend time with my daughter in the outdoors I choose,
I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
