These were my uncle "joe"'s binoculars. He was born Ivan R Graham but everyone called him "joe". He passed away in 2003 at the age of 93 and my dad came into possesion of his binos. He was a farmer, historian, politician, philanthropist and a truly fantastic story teller. He taught me how to love nature and how to just sit back and enjoy looking at the outdoors. Those binoculars went everywhere with him and I could speculate were used almost every day. When it was settled that I was doing my first trip to africa I asked my dad for his binoculars to take along.
This picture was taken off the front deck of my cabin in kwazulu natal early in the morning of my last day. I had been glassing black wildebeest in the valley below as the morning mist lifted. I could not resist taking a picture, it felt like uncle joe was with me.
Dingo`s and dingo/dog hybrids do a lot of stock damage here in Australia. I cammed some angus calf carcases and ended up with the one dead and one other yellow dog that got back into the bush after the shot.
The eagle I snapped as it lifted as they will also feed from the dead.
I scalped the dog for the $120 and also gutted it for the bladder full of piss.
All the people, and dog, who made sure I had an amazing hunt. Johann(PH), Muzie (tracker) and Landa (dog)heading out on a blood trail to find a warthog.

Hello, My wife and I hunted with Marius 2 years ago. He fit us into his schedule after a different outfitter "bailed" on us. He was always very good with communications and although we didn't end up meeting him personally, he called us multiple times during our hunt to make sure things were going well. We were very happy with him.
