Maybe they only included the crossbolt in the magnums? I have a Whitworth Safari in .375 with the single forward crossbolt. All of the .375s and .458WM models I have seen, have the crossbolt. My other one is a custom Whitworth in .416 Taylor, which doesn’t count because the stock has been replaced and has two crossbolts.A quick glance just now at a few of my Interarms Mark X and Whiworth rifles in .243 Winchester, .270 Winchester, and .30-06 Springfield as well as my Remington 798 rebarreled to .338-06 reveals none of those rifles in my posession have a forward receiver crossbolt, and it's notable none of those chamberings are Magnum cartridges (nor is the rifle offered for sale in this listing). @CoElkHunter, what cartridges are your Interarms Mark X rifles with a forward receiver crossbolt chambered for?
The short answer from what I can see is not much. This rifle has an oil finished walnut stock as noted in the listing, and my Interarms Mark X and Whitworth rifles have some sort of polymer (urethane) finish on their walnut stocks. My Remington 798 has a laminated wood stock with some sort of polymer finish. The variety of available chamberings is broader for the Zastava brand rifles. For example, 7mm-08 Remington didn't become an official SAAMI / CIP recognized cartridge prior to 1980. And of course, the brand name the rifle is stamped and sold under.
Yes, it’s a well built rifle and I too wouldn’t worry about it not having a crossbolt. If someone wanted a crossbolt, I’m sure a reputable gunsmith could install one (or two) without breaking one’s budget?I suspect that crossbolt is only present from the factory in the Interarms Mark X / Whiworthrifles chambered in .375 & .458 Magnum cartridges. These rifles in 7mm Remington Magnum and .300 Winchester Magnum have stocks that appear to me to probably be the ones they wore from the manufacturer (semi-gloss finish, some have white line spacers, etc.) and none of these have that crossbolt.

Hopefully the lack of this crossbolt in my 9.3X62mm rifle for sale in this thread, most likely due to this rifle not being chambered in a. 375 or .458 Magnum cartridge, doesn't diminish your or anyone else's interest in potentially purchasing this rifle. It's also a traditional African hunting cartridge, developed in Africa by a man living in Africa named Otto Bock in 1905.
Especially with the recent news of production of the CZ 550 action ceasing, I'm hoping my rifle catches someone's interest in purchasing this rifle to use for hunting.
I'm no expert, but the two position slide style safety that eliminates any clearance issues if a scope is mounted to this rifle looks similar to the safety I see on rifles with the Sako 85 action. This rifle's barrel has a rifling twist rate of 1:14 inches, common for rifles chambered for this cartridge, as hopefully helpful additional detailed info for interested potential purchasers.
