Got this gun from TNDave here on AH.
I was setting it up for 2024 Safari. Well plans have changed due to some medical and 2024 is postponed till 2025 or 2026 looks like.

Winchester Model 70 Super Grade 338 Win Mag. Baco-Utah manf. Gun is is great condition and has a couple minor safe dings. One on floor plate. 2 on left side stock. All are shown in photos. Bluing is so high polished that there is glare in photos.
Factory bedding. I did install Timney Trigger set at 2 3/4 lbs. New Leupold VX5 HD 3-15x44 FireDot Duplex, turret still has free Leupold custom turret available.
Was working up a Barnes 225gr TTSX load for it. It will come with 138 Barnes 225 TTSX Bullets. 80 New Winchester Brass, 12 brass used working up load. RCBS dies and the load data where we stopped working it up at. Include is pic of last 3 shot group I did while working on load.

$2800 for all shipped to your FFL

Impressive Rifle.
Please share photos of the grouping mentioned.

Beautiful rifle Mark!

As do I my friend!

Factory rifles don't come any better than this- that wood is spectacular. If I didn't already have a M70 338 I'd grab this in a minute.

Beautifully figured stock, deep blueing and inletted swivels, very nice!

Not that it adds much to the comments above, but Butch is a totally solid, great guy to do business with. The buyer can be assured everything will be at least as good and likely better than described. Hope the medical problems are sorted out soon and you can get back to Africa.

Want to do a follow up on this sale.
First @godwincp was a pleasure to deal with and very understanding when things didn't go right.
Gun was packed in bubble wrap and in a SKB single gun case packed right. Not the cheap SKB. But the Pelican Style.
When he went to his shop to get gun, Stock was cracked at rear trigger guard screw thru grip. Well after alot of issues FedEx denied claim and any responsibility.
The shop had unpacked the gun before he arrived! He was no present during unpacking. I refunded his money and had shop ship me rifle back. I had shipped @godwincp all the reloading components and boxes directly to his house.
He graciously sent them all back at his expense since I was now dealing with a useless rifle.
Upon return to me I found several marks on trigger guard and floorplate that were not there when shipped. Only my speculation as to what really happened, but it is what it is.
@godwincp is a great guy to deal with and thanks for being patient thru all this.

I will now restock and have metal refinished and make me a shooter out of what was once a gorgeous rifle.

Good grief what a lousy thing to happen to such a nice rifle. First gun I had my nearest shop receive for me was an old Parker DH and when I arrived to pick it up it was being passed around like a bottle of liquor at the campfire in an old western. I had to get in line to look at it, lol. I also had to take a few minutes to simmer down before I calmly and casually mentioned that I was glad I didn’t find anything not mentioned by the seller because that would be a big mess seeing as how I wasn’t the one to unpack it. Thankfully my guy had a light come on and said that he hadn’t considered that and how that would be a problem for him too,…BINGO! I’ve unpacked all since and have never seen anyone else arrive to find their’s already opened either.

Do you still have the Browning 1895 and do you want to sell it? I'm might be interested. If so please let me know and do you have any pictures?
