For Sale Winchester MDL 70 Safari Express .375 H&H

Mdl 70 Safari Express New Haven CT
# G375300 OAL = 44” Barrel = 22.5 “
It had a muzzle brake on it when I found it.
I had brake removed - cut/ crown barrel and added NECG BANDED FRONT SIGHT with 3/32 German silver bead.
Barrel and action were blued matte finish and sights were silver soldered on.
Impeccable work by Williams gunsight in Davison, MI (I have work order and receipt $ 460 - September 2021)
A couple of hunting dings/handling marks.
No scope / mounts or rings.
Excellent condition overall with bright bore - sharp rifling.
$ 1700 shipped FFL to FFL

For a 375 H&H, that's an iconic serial number ... I could almost see RooHawk taking it into his care, just for the numbers ...

Is the 2002 yesr date the date of original manufactor or the date you had the work done to it? I am notvery good at it but by the serial number only on the internet it was originally manufactured in 1956. ?? Nice Looking rifle set up for Safari.

For a 375 H&H, that's an iconic serial number ... I could almost see RooHawk taking it into his care, just for the numbers ...

I'm not into numerology, but it does seem fate to have a serial 375300, the two best H&H calibers as its serial and the parent and child cartridge of the gun no less! Fun.
