For sale is an unfired CZ 550 chambered in 416 Rigby and a bunch of factory ammunition (see below for details on the ammo). This rifle has a "fancy grade" (their words, not mine) American style walnut stock and all of the original factory features: 25" barrel, 3-leaf express (1 standing, 2 folding) and hooded front site, true Mauser-style magnum length action with CRF bolt, hinged floorplate internal magazine, single set trigger, an overall length just over 46", and an unloaded weight a little over 9lbs.

I bought this rifle factory new from a gun store in 2021 and have never fired it or had any work done to it. I have worked the bolt to cycle dummy rounds but have never even taken the rifle outside my house. I also have the factory aluminum scope rings from CZ and the original box (as seen in the pictures). I can either send the rifle in a Plano hard case or the factory box, whatever you prefer.

The rifle comes with a bunch of factory ammunition, as well--208 rounds and 11 pieces of once fired brass. I bought some from gun stores and some from AH members. The incomplete boxes and spent brass were part of a cache I bought from an AH member last year.

75 rds. of Hornady Dangerous Game DGS (solids) - 400gr. (two full boxes and one box of 15 with five pieces of spent brass)
40 rds. of Hornady Dangerous Game DGX (expanding SP) - 400gr.
40 rds. of Federal Premium Safari Trophy Bonded Bear Claw - 400gr.
20 rds. of Federal Fusion Safari - 400gr.
20 rds. of Federal Cape-Shok Barnes Triple Shock SP - 400gr.
13 rds. of Federal Premium Cape-Shok Trophy Bonded Bear Claw - 400gr (also six pieces of spent brass)

I am selling this all as one package for $3,000 shipped (please make sure it's legal to ship ammo to your state). Between the unfired out-of-production rifle that goes for >$2K on a regular basis, the premium factory ammunition (between the TBBC, the Cape-Shok, and all of the Hornady, you're >$1,200 trying to replace that today), and the shipping (insured for the rifle and a separate package for the ammo will easily be >$200 of shipping), I think this is more than a fair deal.

I can’t do credit cards but can probably handle most other types of payment. I have reviews (as both buyer and seller) on this site but can also jump on the phone or meet in person if you prefer. I tried to take a lot of detailed pictures, but I can provide more upon request.

Thanks for having a look!

Did the dummy rounds you ran through the action feed/cycle without any hiccups?

The rifle holds three down (3+1). It usually cycles fine with the dummy rounds, but probably once every 20 times I cycle all the rounds, the second round out (left side of the mag) doesn't get fully picked up by the bolt. I know a lot of 550s in the bigger, magnum rounds (Rigby, Jeffery, Lott, Gibbs) have this issue. If I kept the rifle I'd probably have a smith clean up the feeding.

Thanks.

I would be interested in knowing the manufacturer date stamped on the right side receiver, should be two digits.

Figured this one wouldn’t take long! Congrats to both parties

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
