I have 10 bags of 40 pieces left. $60 per bag shipped. Will also trade for new 30/06 brass at even swap. This is brand new packaged brass from Norma. Some say the best brass made!

Toby, I'm sure this is a silly, or stupid question, but why do hand loaders buy so much brass for a single caliber, in this case 300 H&H? And I know any hand loaders on this forum have many calibers they load for. I know that @tarbe did/does the same thing on a regular basis and would then have to or need to sell some off. Same for bullets. To a non hand loader as myself, it seems you are on a continuous merry go round and can't decide whether to stay on or get off.......what say you?

Well I'll throw in my opinion for what its worth. I usually purchase brass as well as bullets when I find one I like for a certain caliber in large quantities for a couple different reasons

1. It allows me to have consistency in my reloads once I have found the components that produce the results I require for that particular caliber then I can replicate that particular load at any given time.

2. I think I'm going to keep all of the new calibers that I get forever when I first buy them and some of them I know I may get rid of the particular rifle but I know I will at some point purchase another rifle in that same caliber.

3. Brass and bullets never go down in value and are easy to ship, no hazmat and such, can get a ton of it in a flat rate box. They also make great trade and barter goods as well as often making a for sale package more attractive especially if it is a caliber that ammo is not always readily available for.

4. The purchasing of reloading components becomes some what a kin to purchasing a rifle, as in when you see a good deal on something that is hard to find you often just can't pass it up, knowing that you'll probably use it or resell it at some point in the future anyway.

That is a few of the reasons for me personally why I have a ridiculous amount of reloading supplies.

All that makes sense. Toby and tarbe have been on here a long time and this MASS buying and selling of components to an outsider (me) in some ways is comical in that they seem to never be able to find a happy medium. And then again they must enjoy riding that merry go round.....

The joy truly is in the Merry go round. Ha ha. Rarely do I ever sell any and make money but I buy, sell, trade, swap, help out a buddy who didn't properly plan for an ammo shortage. If Ray hadn't already got these I was gonna swap Toby some 30/06 brass and I don't even own a 300 H&H but I'm sure I will at some point.

By the way @TOBY458 , if Ray didn't take all of it and if you would like some more 30/06 brass or any other particular components that I may have send me a PM.

I have a couple bags of 30/06 I would trade with you if you have any 300 left.

Let me check in the shop I think it is two or 3 bags of winchester. I will let you know later today.

Sometimes the fun is in the buying and selling. Once you have all you need of something, it kind of gets boring. So, by buying and selling a lot of guns and ammo, we get to own and shoot a lot more variety of guns than if we just bought them and held on to them. Also, sometimes I drink and get on Gunbroker. BAD IDEA! LOL!

Thanks! I think I have it covered, but I'll keep that in mind!

I have 3 bags of 50.

I'll take two bags if there's any left.
