There were obviously no rules broken but to lead someone on is weak, if that was indeed the case here. If you would rather do a FTF or have certain preferences then you should let it be known IMO. The good thing about airing it out a little is that it helps others identify who they might not want to do business with in the future.

No one was lead on nor was Quest #1 given an answer weather I was selling it to him. So no harm done at all. Thank you AH for stepping in.

Hey AH thanks for clarifying no rules were broken. Not sure where in the thread we were talking about rules? More of morals and honesty.
Figured we are adults and could follow rules.
Just confirms the threat over the phone “that if I say anything about this on AH I’m good friends with the founder and I will have you kicked out” ... I’ve been quiet, respectful and humble my entire time on here. I’ve purchased multiple 375’s from members no issues. For the ones that say I should have posted public. Well that has never been a issue in the past with a honest seller. I’m not one to brag and to say hey look at me I have 5k sitting here for a gun during a time like this its not me. I did have to suffer through 15 minutes of listening to Robert telling me all about how rich he is from his a lawn mowing business and on and on yeah I’ll never get that time back! then how he has 5 r8 ‘s hints why this one was pieced together. Again I was polite and humble. 35 with 2 successful businesses/ just started a 3rd self made no daddy’s money bs and I’m still not that guy.

No rules were broken just posting a honest review of a time stamped transaction that was very transparent between buyer and seller.

I have sold alot of items on here with zero problems. I typically price the things I sell very reasonably. I am not looking to clobber anyone. I guess that causes a frenzy because it is usually a good deal as this R8.

Well the buyer may not if @Quest#1 is right that the gun was pieced together to make an Attaché.

An R8 Attache has a fluted barrel, gold trigger, and grade 7 wood.

Comparing it to other R8 Attache's on offer globally (because Google will not only help you find them, but make it easy (they even have photos) it is very plain in wood.

There are such a thing as an R8 Luxus with a black receiver and wood sides. Not sure if they are still doing them or not, but they have offered this in both R8 and R93 guise.

There is no mineral streaking in the side plates or fore end. Grade 7 wood, would be heavily streaked through the entire stock.
