I haven’t had the chance to look at one of the new models in person. Can you see any difference between the HD and the VX3i?

Yeah, images are a bit sharper and brighter. I wouldn’t sell a VX3i to get an HD based on optical performance alone but if I was in the market for new scope I’d take the HD over the VX3i. biggest advantage for me is the locking cds turret.

I also sell these. I have noticed the difference between the 3i and HD is they are a little sharper and clearer and stay sharp right out to the edge of the glass. The HD5 is a better glass but a considerably higher price. I would put the 3HD on anything and be happy.
