For Sale Left Handed 25-06

Not even a between .35 TOWNSEND NELSON WHELEN? LOL
@CoElkHunter I do like the idea of a .35 Whelen because it fits my general “anti magnum mentality” but I don’t own one yet. I’ve looked to buy a Remington 760 pump in .35 Whelen for a couple years (they are hard to find) and the very few I’ve seen in great condition are well over $2000+. - which might be a fair price…just more then I care to spend for a rifle I will use infrequently.

@HankBuck, I’m not in any rush. I don’t have to sell it for sure. I do feel my asking price is fair and in line with most recent sales. It will make somebody a great rifle at some point, even if it’s me keeping it.
@Fatback - you might consider mounting an inexpensive scope ($50 Tasco) and selling your rifle “ready to Hunt”. Many guys don’t want to go through the trouble of mounting a scope (surprising how many don’t know how to mount a scope) and buying a rifle “all ready to Hunt” has an appeal to them….

@Mauser3000, The rifle shoots good. I had a Timney trigger installed and it had a bit of a heavier barrel when I bought it which helps when shooting it. I am sure the rifle is capable of more than I am when it comes to accuracy and preformance.

I have used it on deer out to 350 yards without any issues. That is with a CDS dial up scope and Hornady factory ammo. I am not a long range shooter by any means. In the right hands, with somebody who hand loads I am sure that this rifle would be as good an option as any other factory 25.06, in my humble opinion.

@Mauser3000 Glad to answer any questions for anybody who might be interested in this rifle. Only reason I am selling is I am in the process of getting a Winchester M70 converted to 25.06 and don’t need two rifles in the same caliber and I prefer the model 70s to the M77 Mark IIs. Just personal preference.
