For sale is an Interarms Whitworth 375 Holland.

First, this rifle is not a safe queen. It has dings/missing finish on the stock and missing finish in a few spots on the metal. That being said, the rifle wasn't abused, is sound and a good shooter. I don't want someone disappointed if they are expecting an excellent condition, unhunted rifle. And I want to make sure I'm not representing it that way. I have attempted to take pictures of what I feel are the worst areas for dings or missing finish. I keep a light coat of ballistol on my rifles, stock and action and then keep them in gun socks. The sheen you see is light oil. The stock finish is pretty flat if wiped off or hasn't been oiled in a while.

I'd rather under represent this rifle, and it not sell, than have someone get upset or be disappointed over the sale. The reason for sale is that I have other medium bores I use (33, 35, 38-55) and I have been shooting/hunting a lot of cast bullet rifle loads with smaller volume cartridges.

The bore is in good condition and I have attempted to picture that, but the picture would never come out.

The trigger is light, crisp with no creep and the safety is functional.

I didn't have any trouble with feeding. The receiver channels where the bolt lugs travel weren't machined very finely on these rifles. Some people work to smooth that, I have not.

It shot 300 SGKs into about 2-2.5" at 100yds with the express sights. It shot Speer 235 hot-cors into about 3-4", though I did no load development with those. I never mounted a scope, nor does it appear the previous owner did. I did not regulate the sights; they shot close enough for my hunting needs.

Length of pull is nearly 14" with the hogue recoil pad I added.

I am in North central Indiana. I would prefer a face to face sale. If that isn't practical, I can take the rifle to a dealer near me of your choice to verify I am who I say I am and I haven't misrepresented the rifle. In that case, I would ship the rifle through them for their fee. Otherwise, make sure your FFL dealer will accept a rifle from a private individual with copy of driver's license. I'm not shipping the rifle outside the US. With a strong preference for a face to face sale, I can be flexible on rifle price or purchase of the cartridge components if the sale is made that way.

I have 50 new Norma cases, 50 new Remington cases and 24-1x-2x fired/loaded Norma cases. I also have 50-300gr tsx' and over 200-235gr Speer hot cors. Finally a set of RCBS dies. These are not included with purchase of the rifle, but would be available for purchase by any purchaser of this rifle. I would post these up for sale on AH if no interest by rifle purchaser.

I've seen these Whitworths sell for $1250-1300 on AH. Since mine is more loved, I am offering it for $850 plus shipping and any dealer fees on my end if that route is chosen.

A few more pics to make sure rifle isn't misrepresented to a buyer...again, I'd rather scare someone off and it sit in my gun safe unused than be in a difficult situation with an unhappy buyer.

Great gun. For this price it will not last long. People who where searching for a 375 h&h. Here is your steal

Excellent deal for a guy willing to refinish the stock and do a load work up. This gun should clean up well and also be a sub-MOA shooter. If you lived closer and I didn't already have two of these, I'd be all over it. GLWS!

PS - there should be a four digit code stamped into the upper right receiver just in front of the bolt, which will tell you the month and year of manufacture. You might have to take the gun out of the stock to see it.

They are great rifles, just have too many other med bore rifles and I don't need the case capacity for what I enjoy tinkering with now. I have another full-stocked in 30-06 that I've hunted with as well (can be seen in my post history).

The 375H, with the Norma cases pictured has been at book max velocity just part way up from the start charge and I've stopped there with two mentioned bullets. My suggestion to any buyer was going to be to drop down slightly from any listed start charge when beginning load development. Has that been your experience?

I don't own a chrono, so I'm one of those guys who works through a ladder based on group size and then picks whatever groups the best. However, that new Garmin chrono has my attention, so I may change that soon.

PS - the hints of fiddleback in that stock make for a really nice touch.

At $850 this is a very good deal. A refinish on that stock is a couple of hours and $15 in materials.. it will then easily be a $1200 rifle..

@cash_tx I’ve got a prochrono …it’s nothing special..but it’s reasonably accurate… swing by and borrow it any time you like…

I typically target a speed in whatever reloading manual I’m using and then build a few loads up and down from the target.. I shoot them all and see what groups best.. then measure the speed of the load the rifle prefers..

I don’t get too wrapped around speed.. as long as it’s fast enough for the bullet I’m shooting to perform (typically TSX or ttsx) that’s good enough for me…

'Had 3 of 'em in the past (458 WM and 2 300 WMs.) All EXCELLENT shooters. Nice gun. Worth $1K+. Should sell easily. Will show to 1 friend, but under Bidenomics, will not likely be approved by The Boss.

Daylight pics. Have a PM from an established AH member interested in a shipment sale. He is not in a hurry and is interested if a face to face transaction can't be arranged. Will let this hang out for a while since my preference is to deal in-person. Again, I am in North central Indiana. Can be somewhat flexible on price depending on drive distance to meet in person, especially if I can schedule work around it. I do travel for work to northern part of state regularly. Rarely to Illinois and Ohio.

I recently picked up the Garmin you mentioned and absolutely love it. Quick easy set up, accurate, and compact enough to fit in my range box. For me it was worth every penny.

I've got a good friend nearby who will let me try out his Garmin any time I want; just haven't had a chance to take him up on the offer. Once it cools off in North Texas, I'll get a little more serious about getting out to the range. :)

In the meantime, somebody is about to get a deal on a really great rifle.

Pls share Garmin model info.
Thank you

Splendid rifle at an excellent price, if I didn’t already have a .375 I’d be driving to north central Illinois.

It's the Garmin Xero C1 Pro.
The first chrono that simply does what it is supposed to do.

Very nice rifle!!!

Hey there Matt - i would love to understand some more about your bringing trophies home from South Africa in your checked luggage. My PH is holding onto a bushbuck euro and flatskin for me - and i am due back in South Africa in just over a week. He does have the export permit provided by the taxidermist for me. When you have a moment - could we go through the EDC Form and App? Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hey trogon thanks for the shipping trophys info, so this being my first time shipping ,did you hire a firm here in the states to handle the import or was that an African firm, I would be happy with a cost around 3000+.

Just finished your book (audio) and ordered a hardback for my Library. You did a wonderful job explaining the way conservation works in Africa, and my wife is interested in reading your book now. Thank you for your work.
