Very nice rifle and great value compared to what the same money buys today. Does.this have the steel 1-piece bottom metal or is it similar to the Browning safari models?

I just used Weaver Grand Slam (S45 and S46) Steel bases for the FN Mauser and they worked great, gun shoots pretty good also with just some generic loads I had laying around!!

Hello, My wife and I hunted with Marius 2 years ago. He fit us into his schedule after a different outfitter "bailed" on us. He was always very good with communications and although we didn't end up meeting him personally, he called us multiple times during our hunt to make sure things were going well. We were very happy with him.
