Very nice old FN Mauser. This is a commercial Sporter made by FN in Belgium with matching Serial numbers on the action and barrel. Nice checkering, good finish on the stock. Front sight is complete with hood. The front sight bead is bent noticeably but it is just the insert. It has some honest scuffs from being carried but certainly not abused.

I wears a Leupold Vari-X IIc in Talley Rings. I have a Dayton Traister Mark II trigger for it in original packaging.

I have test fired it for function and to get the scope on paper but have never fully sighted it in or tested for accuracy.

I bought this for plains game but it looks like Alaska is taking all my time (and money) for the foreseeable future so passing it on to someone who will appreciate it.

Quality wise I put these on par with a Browning Safari Grade.

Would like to get $1100 shipped for the entire package as it sits.

Great rifle and a lot of value and craftsmanship for the price. I have the same thing in 270 and 257 Robert's, and they benefit quite well from that upgraded trigger. GLWS!

Nice package at more than fair price. I have its twin in 270 and love it. Greatly improved with that trigger which is a very easy install. To match that quality in anything new would certainly cost many times more. Good luck with the sale!
