This is a Husqvarna marketed 30-06 from the early to mid-1950s. Old bluing removed and metal slightly polished in prep for a re-blue. The bottom metal was then finished with Brownell's Oxpho Blue. Since the photos below were taken the bluing on the barrel has been more uniformly removed and the metal polished. It's drilled and tapped for a scope. The Husqvarna crest is quite nice and markings are crisp. Has the factory one-piece steel bottom metal. No trigger. Bolt has the Timney wing safety installed. This was going to be a little project but I've decided to do something else.

$350 shipped in the US to an FFL.

I have shot it a little and found that it did about 1.5" 5-shot groups at 100 yards with high-quality 165 gr. ammo.

There is no pitting at all so far as I can see. Rifling is strong. Fairly bright bore.

Surprised this hasn't been grabbed up

Me too. I see people spending over $100 just for bottom metal like this has.

Its tempting but I just bought a 300 h&h literally 2 days ago and so funds are a bit tight.

I need another 30-06 like I need another Ex Wife,But

Hi Jon,
I saw your post for the .500 NE cases. Are these all brass or are they nickel plated? Hard for me to tell... sorry.
Thanks,
