Dakota take down's aren't common guns - but they are ingenious, and can be taken apart with a couple of turns of an allen wrench. This is a single caliber version in 375H&H. It's possible that ParkWest would add another barrel for you if desired - this is the most flexible action size, same as 300H&H, 400H&H, etc. and you could have a gun for anything and everything (some may argue that the 375H&H is already a gun for everything!)

Barrel is 22" and gun weighs 8lbs 10ozs with Talley bases installed. Couple of minor safe marks captured in the pics and for some reason the recoil pad has some wear at the tip.

Very handy and can be carried in a case that doesn't scream "GUN". It was difficult to capture the chatoyance of the wood, but it's classic, very high grade Bastogne Walnut. $7995 - shipping and any insurance is at your expense.

Wow that went cheap!

Pm coming in bound.

John
As @RR 314 mentioned, Dakota Arms used two different Talley bases. Make sure you figure out which one this rifle has before you buy rings. Talley lists the base measurements to verify on the base listing on their website.

Beautiful rifle, and superlative use of the word 'chatoyance'.

Very nice and a proper quick sale for a good rifle.

Gorgeous piece of walnut! If it shoots half as good as it looks, it's a tack driver.

Congratulations John! What are you going to hunt with it?
I drew a black bear tag for Wisconsin, so that will be first on the list.

I’m intending to take my son to Africa next year and hunt with him. My wife would be joining us as an observer.

This group is really hard on the check book! Thanks guys.

John

I have 2 sets (375/ 458 Lott & 338 Lapua/416 Rigby). A little heavy but very accurate and a pleasure to shoot. Had mine several years.

That will hammer a bear!

I've shot 3 black bears. 2 with a 375 and one with Gina's 404. All three quartering to me shot through front of shoulder and quartering to behind the offside shoulder. Al dropped in their tracks;)

Congratulations John, that rifle deserves to go to Africa. Glad to hear you'll be going to Africa and taking your son with you. BTW, you are going to love the 375 H&H, it's a great all-around caliber. As you well know, I'm very happy with mine.
