Please note - a member several months back wanted me to pass along any Capstick books once I was done with them as he was next in line for them at the time I purchased them.
I cannot find the message from him to track him down.
If this was you, please let me know and I'll send you the Capstick book gratis and I'm sorry it took me so long but I have a lot of books in circulation at any one time.
I will sit on it for 1 week from posting this ad and then it's fair game to anyone else that chooses to buy it.

Items:
30 cal. 200gr a-frames. 50 count. Still in shrink wrap. My 300WM digests other pills well.
$60 shipped in CONUS

Big game Hunting and Collecting in East Africa, 1903-1926. Kittenberger.
$35 shipped in CONUS

Safari - The Last Adventure. Capstick. Hardcover.
$35 shipped in CONUS

Plato's Republic - Allan Bloom.
$35 shipped in CONUS

Any SF or 1st responders get 10% off price listed.
I'm in San Antonio.
Venmo, Zelle, or in person cash or check if you don't mind waiting for it to clear.

Reasonable offers or trades considered.

I'll be posting a few items separately. If you want to bundle, I'm open to proposals to save shipping cost, etc.

Very kind of you to offer the SF discount. I would take advantage of it, but I have already spent quality time with both books. Thanks again.

A-frames SPF.

I’ll take the two Capstick books! PM sent!
Hi CZ - there's only 1 Capstick book and I'm holding it a week as noted above.
If I don't hear from him, I consider it spoken for by you.

I'll PM as well. Thank you.

I went down yesterday to the Piraeus with Glaucon. . .

Seriously, the discussion between Glaucon and Thrasymachus will blow your hair back-if you still have it. :-)

It's a little bit of work to read but still quite good.

The can allegory is more applicable than ever these days.

I revel in the cave in perpetuity. Admittedly, I am content to wallow in my worldi view/ignorance than face the unknown. :-) Should be required reading for all.

By SF do you mean Special Forces?

Does that apply to all SF Groups or do you add a +20% to 5th SFG for always having a bad attitude?

LOL.
I consider that bad attitude to be a feature rather than a bug.

That is great, the Dirty 5th did have a rep at Bragg and in downrange.

Kittenberger & Capstick books SPF

For you folks that have not read The Republic, it should be mandatory reading. Get on it. :) In these times, also pick up a copy of The Creation of the American Republic 1776-1787 by Gordon Wood. That is your homework assignment. :-).

Bump to the top.

Maybe publish a sliding scale by Group affiliation :)
I can tell you we Navy guys always had a great attitude.
Never got in trouble
Never stepped out of line
Always fulfilling and exceeding expectations day after day after day.

Well... except for that one time... and that other one... LOL

Adding a book

The man eaters of tsavo. JH Patterson
This is the book upon which the movie "the ghost and the darkness" was based.

Hello Doug,
I am Philippe from France and plan to go hunting Caprivi in 2026, Oct.
I have read on AH you had some time in Vic Falls after hunting. May I ask you with whom you have planned / organized the Chobe NP tour and the different visits. (with my GF we will have 4 days and 3 nights there)
Thank in advance, I will appreciate your response.
Merci
Philippe
