There are no holes drilled in this one and serial numbers match. The wood appears to have had some sort of clear coat put on it at one time and no cleaning rod. This rifle was made during the war and is marked made in Germany. Ship conus to FFL US address for $1600.00

Beautiful gun. Thanks for sharing!

That fine looking M1903 stutzen should find a home soon. It was built between 1938-45, the period of 'Anschluss', or German occupation of Austria. Reproduction cleaning rods can be found, and on rare occasion originals turn up. The wood is very nicely figured. Perhaps the original owner paid extra for what Stoeger called "Stock of specially selected pretty wood"?

From 1939 Stoeger (U.S.) catalogue:

As a kid in the early 50’s, there was a series...Ramar of the Jungle....started my never ending desire to hunt in Africa, but more importantly the rifle I always dreamed of was the rifle that Ramar carried...the identical trifle to the one for sale. Good luck with the sale...only us old guys will remember Ramar and his rifle, what ever he shot with it was one shot DRT. Only on TV

What is the length pull on this pretty little rifle, please? Thanks.

Cant say I remember that show! I aint no youngster either.:rolleyes:

I looked it up. Ramar was on TV between 52-54. I was born in '53. I suspect it didn't get much syndication later..:D:D

Had limited syndication thru 57 or so, was on Saturday mornings in my area. Google it and some old shows can be viewed. I was an early boomer..class of 47.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon one of these rifles with a 1922 manufacture date. They are light, lively, and come up to the shoulder and line up instinctively with the sights. Mine is very accurate as well, a real pleasure to shoot. Someone will get a very nice piece of history with this purchase.

This rifle is sold pending funds. Thanks!

Hallo, ein Freund von mir lebt auf einer Farm in den Rocky Mountains.
Leider kam es dort in den letzten Wochen zu Bränden.
Hoffe es geht dir gut!?
